     Macros are a great productivity tool. They allow you to run series of actions with a click of a button. Macros help you work smartly.

A macro is a set of tasks combined together so that you can run or replay the entire task together with a single command. With macros you can perform long or boring tasks just by a single click.

Many applications provide macro capability inbuilt, like MS Excel, MS Word etc. These applications provide macro recording capabilities as well as some kind of macro language. For example: you can record a macro in Excel to perform calculations, format cells or just about anything you do in Excel.  ( I will update some info on OGame Excel scripts soon).

Anything and everything that is repetitive can be done using macros. All of us perform many repetitive actions day after day on our computers. Once you are aware that these are repetitive actions, you can easily create a macro for it and next time perform it with a click of a button.

Personally I don't mess around with macros in OGame, but there is some cool stuff that can be accomplished in OGame using macros. Browser games are very easy to macro, I heard OGame is especially attractive & easy.

The first thing I would do is set up a good defense structure: Instant message attack notification, hiding my recourses (spending) & fleet. The possibilities are endless.

There are plenty of macro software and tools on the net example: Macro Wizard - http://www.vsisystems.com/macrowizard.htm, (first one that popped up on Google). Another one is Macro Express (like shown on video below). There are also a bunch of free progs. but I will list those later. (if you know any good ones, submit at bottom of the page).

These cheats can get you BANNED if discovered. So be careful & read all info on the cheat. My Tools however are completely safe. Take advantage of them.

OgameBlog is about everything for OGame, therefore cheats and hacks are one aspect which a site with everything for OGame must have. Weather there is a point in using cheats is not for me to decide. I only inform the OGame community of them.

There is a positive aspect of having info about and how to cheat. You can read, learn and be aware that cheats like this exist. This way if a player is using cheats you can spot him, and report him so he will get banned. The only way you can spot people cheating is if you are aware that a cheat exists, and know how it works. OgameBlog is providing info for you (the player) to decide what to do with it.
